Role Description Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Training Specialist to support the development, coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise training and workforce development programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in curriculum development, instructional systems design, adult learning methodologies, and training program management within complex organizational or government environments. This role is responsible for assessing training needs, developing and delivering instructional content, coordinating training activities, and implementing innovative learning solutions that improve employee performance, operational readiness, and organizational effectiveness. - Design, develop, implement, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs for employees and external stakeholders - Conduct training needs assessments and analyze workforce performance gaps to identify training solutions and development opportunities - Develop curriculum, lesson plans, instructional materials, participant guides, job aids, presentations, multimedia content, and evaluation tools - Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions using adult learning principles and instructional best practices - Coordinate and manage training schedules, workshops, seminars, conferences, and learning events - Utilize multiple training delivery methods including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, e-learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, videos, simulators, workshops, and computer-aided instructional technologies - Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, performance metrics, and participant feedback to continuously improve training programs - Collaborate with leadership, supervisors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational objectives - Support workforce development initiatives and employee career progression programs - Maintain training records, attendance documentation, certifications, and compliance reporting - Issue training completion certificates and maintain documentation of employee learning activities - Provide consultation and guidance to managers and employees regarding performance improvement and training solutions - Support development and implementation of knowledge management and continuous learning initiatives - Assist with development of policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures related to training and workforce development - Serve as a training lead or mentor for junior training specialists and instructional staff, as required Qualifications - Master's level degree in Education, Psychology or related Training Systems discipline - 10 years professional experience in curriculum development Requirements - Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire) Benefits - Competitive salaries - Paid time off - Health, dental and vision insurance - Company paid short/long term disability - Company paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance - 401(k) (up to 5% matching) - Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Other company perks
