Business Development Leader

Matrix Providers

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including geographic expansion, new service lines, and emerging healthcare staffing trends. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform pricing decisions and position Matrix Providers as a market leader. • Deep understanding of the federal procurement process within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs and agency landscapes • Hunter mentality with the ability to build long-term trusted advisor relationships • Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of business development initiatives, reporting progress to the President and executive team. • Oversee the process to create competitive pricing models that balance competitiveness, profitability, and compliance with federal, state, and contract requirements. • Oversee the creation of compelling proposals, RFPs, and bids, ensuring alignment with client needs and Matrix Providers capabilities. • Partner with program management, operations, recruiting, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of staffing solutions and alignment with business goals.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ Years of military experience
  • 8+ years of experience in government contracting business development
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong existing federal relationships and track record of winning contracts ($20M+)

Responsibilities - Creative Outbound Prospecting: Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels.
