• Provide digital consultations and treatments to clients with various MSK issues, offering expert advice and guidance to help them manage and overcome their conditions. • Deliver excellent standards of telephone and video assessments • Conduct consultations in 15 minute appointments • Provide diagnosis, prescription of self-management techniques and onward referrals • Manage customer pathways, delivering the most appropriate clinical outcomes • Assess customer needs and provide appropriate advice and support. • Provide remote guidance and instruction on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and self-management strategies for managing MSK conditions. • Offer remote consultations to address patients' questions, concerns, and progress updates, providing ongoing support and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey. • Stay current with advancements in MSK physiotherapy practice and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and promoting the overall health and well-being of patients.
Job Requirements
- MSc post graduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or University accredited Post Graduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice. Post grad module relevant to diagnostic nature of APP service (desirable)
- Be a Band 7 Physiotherapist
- Completion of FCP1 & FCP2
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- 3 years post graduate experience in MSK Primary Care with at least 3 years in a senior role in MSK
- Demonstrate post graduate learning and advanced clinical skills (MSc level) in patient assessment, diagnostics with development of treatment plan, including evidence of working at Level 7 (MSc level) all 4 pillars (clinical practice, leadership & management, education and research (desirable)
- Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Proficient in using telehealth platforms and EMR systems for remote consultations and documentation.
- Experience conducting remote consultations and delivering virtual care is preferred.
