• Lead the technical architecture effort for our next generation cloud data platform • Partner with platform teams to design and deploy a cloud big data platform that is fit for purpose and in line with business goals and objectives • Contribute towards the definition and SDLC adoption of strategic enterprise platform architecture standards • Develop platform standards for how integrations are developed, and how features are developed within the ecosystem • Provide design and technical support for application teams that are re-architecting legacy/batch data solutions
Job Requirements
- 10+ years experience as a cloud database engineer/architect with a proven track record of delivery
- Expertise with AWS infrastructure such as S3, Redshift, and Athena required
- Hands-on experience as a database developer and/or administrator is a must
- Working experience with Data Management and Governance solutions
- Experience creating and supporting enterprise-level big data platform architecture is required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical discipline

Data Enterprise Architect Main Responsibilities: • Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint, including data models, standards, and governance frameworks. • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align data architecture with strategic business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable data solutions across transactional, analytical, and streaming environments. • Establish standard data integration and data exchange patterns to ensure system interoperability across platforms. • Lead data platform modernization efforts and cloud adoption initiatives, including migrations to Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP. • Define policies and frameworks for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). • Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory adherence. • Provide architectural guidance to solution architects, data engineers, and project teams through reviews, mentoring, and coaching.
