Role Description As part of Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) organization, you'll join our mission to create the world's most secure products. We are seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to take ownership of security research prototypes and scaling them into reliable, production-grade services. - Passionate about building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure that amplifies threat intelligence impact. - Work closely with threat intelligence analysts worldwide to transform internal analysis tools into reliable production services. - Own the complete journey from evaluating prototype readiness to ongoing reliable operation. - Assess threat intelligence codebases and tooling for production readiness and extend them for scale. - Build service APIs and integrations for reliability, robustness, and performance. - Design containerized deployments and establish CI/CD pipelines. - Implement secrets management and access controls. - Build monitoring and observability practices to keep platforms performant and secure. Qualifications - Experience designing and operating cloud and on-premises service infrastructure. - Advanced knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, data storage, networking, authentication/authorization (OIDC, OAuth), queuing, logging, and monitoring. - Advanced knowledge in scripting and programming languages, including Python and Bash. - Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and agents. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent). - Experience with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK). - Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Requirements - Prior experience working with threat research or threat intelligence teams. - Intellectually curious team player with a growth mindset and a genuine passion for finding, understanding, and mitigating cyber threats. - Experience with and/or strong enthusiasm for security, especially offensive security and threat research. - Prior experience working with large-scale data pipelines and storage systems. - Remote work, with occasional travel.

You will be: - building and supporting tools, processes, and infrastructure enabling faster delivery and scaling of software releases, - ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability of application infrastructure in cloud environments, - designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools, - defining and implementing monitoring, logging, and metrics collection to ensure operational visibility, - supporting and driving cloud migration initiatives from OVH to GCP, including design, execution, and troubleshooting, - collaborating closely with development and operations teams to improve DevOps practices and system performance. Your profile: - 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, - strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE and containerized workloads, - experience working with OVH infrastructure or environments, - solid understanding of cloud migration strategies and execution (including OVH environments), - experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Ansible, - experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar, - ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud migration and production systems, - strong knowledge of DevOps principles, SDLC, and infrastructure monitoring, - security awareness including OWASP principles, encryption, and secrets management, - scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell, - strong communication and collaboration skills, - upper-intermediate to advanced English (B2/C1), - practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery. - Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: - Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work. - Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
