Role Description We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team in our New Jersey office located in Jersey City. In this role, you will represent insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers before the Workers’ Compensation Courts. You will manage your own caseload while developing and executing effective litigation strategies. This role is primarily remote, with the option to work from the office as needed and attend court appearances when required. We’re committed to training candidates who show the right aptitude and work ethic. Salary is commensurate with experience. - Comfort with high-volume, deadline driven environments (you stay organized without being asked twice). - Strong written and verbal communication skills – you can explain complex issues clearly to diverse audiences. - Ability to travel as needed to attend hearings and other court appearances. - Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality. - Bonus: Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation; knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, or TILA; or a background in foreclosure law (if not, we’ll help you learn).
