Role Description The Life Science ERP Program Business Process Expert (BPE) for Manufacturing plays a pivotal role in transforming our Manufacturing business strategy. Reporting to the Manufacturing Business Process Owner, you will manage the preparation & deployment of Key Design Decisions that will impact the business for years to come. You will collaborate with other BPEs, IT Solution Experts, and Data Experts to drive continuous improvement and align our business strategy to build the newest LS ERP solution. Your expertise in Manufacturing processes, especially within the Life Sciences industry, will be crucial. You will define key business processes within the ERP system, identify areas for improvement, develop detailed process documentation, and balance multiple responsibilities to deliver high-quality results. If you are passionate about driving operational excellence & have a proven track record in change management and project execution, this is the opportunity for you to make a significant impact and grow your career. - Responsible for preparation of Manufacturing Key Design Decisions & deployment activities, ensuring adherence to harmonization targets - Drive business process change on an operational level as a change agent while ensuring process simplification & process/system standardization - Identifies areas for process improvement & works with relevant stakeholders (e.g., BPEs, ITSEs, Data Experts) to implement change - Develops detailed process documentation & maintains up-to-date records of all design and deployment activities - Synthesizes information & provides strong recommendations incorporating business context & dependencies while establishing clear prioritization criteria to determine tradeoffs - Anticipates impact not only to one's own function but to the broader organization & takes decisions based on broader business benefit - Leverages advanced problem-solving & analytical skills to drive progress on simplifying and improving complex work processes - Travel will be required to support workshops and future implementations, up to 30% - Preferred geographies include Europe and North America and can be located at any of our sites or can be fully remote with travel expected. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field; advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Manufacturing processes or a related field - Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP systems within the Life Sciences industry - Proven track record in managing complex business processes and implementations - Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management Requirements - Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze highly complex business processes - Ability to simplify complex information into clear, actionable insights - Effective communication skills to work closely with various stakeholders and ensure alignment - Demonstrated ability to support the strategic design & development of ERP templates & processes - Expertise in change management, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption during process changes - Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues - Ability to manage multiple projects & tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - Fluent in English, additional foreign language is beneficial Department LS-SC-DRM Job Evaluation Expert 3 TA Gap Rattimasakol
