Job Description

Product Manager

Sapio Sciences

• Own the outward-facing product narrative, developing positioning, messaging frameworks, and demo strategies that clearly articulate the value of Sapio’s platform across ELN, LIMS, and CMC workflows. • Lead and deliver high-impact product demonstrations to prospective customers, partners, and at industry events, tailoring content to the audience — from bench scientists to C-suite executives. • Act as a strategic bridge between product management, sales, and marketing, ensuring go-to-market activity is grounded in product reality and customer insight. • Have deep domain expertise across CMC, Bioanalysis, Bioprocessing, GMP Manufacturing, and QCLIMS with a strong understanding of biologics and the broader life sciences landscape, to credibly engage with scientific and regulatory stakeholders. • Partner closely with the Head of Product and executive leadership team to align external messaging with product direction and company strategy. • Represent the voice of the customer internally, synthesising feedback from demos, customer conversations, and market signals into actionable product and positioning insights. • Collaborate with sales on RFP responses, proof-of-concept engagements, and strategic account support where product expertise and demonstration capability are required. • Build and maintain a library of demo environments, use-case scenarios, and customer-facing collateral that accurately reflect the platform’s capabilities. • Support product marketing efforts, including content development, conference presentations, webinars, and customer advisory board preparation. • Engage regularly with the executive leadership team and CEO, providing clear, confident, and commercially aware perspectives on market positioning and customer feedback.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a product management or product marketing role within a life sciences software company, with a clear external and customer-facing orientation.
  • Deep knowledge of ELN and LIMS products, you must be able to speak credibly about these platforms with scientists, lab managers, and IT stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of CMC, Bioanalysis, Bioprocessing, GMP Manufacturing, and QCLIMS processes, with experience in or exposure to biologics and the biotech/pharma development pipeline strongly preferred.
  • A strong product marketing mindset, you understand how to translate complex functionality into compelling value propositions and customer stories.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including executive leaders. You are comfortable in the room with a CEO and bring presence, preparation, and commercial acumen.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality product demonstrations that move deals forward and build customer confidence.
  • Experience operating across scale-up and/or corporate environments — you can navigate both the pace of a growing company and the complexity of large enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written, verbal, and visual. You can simplify the complex and make it land.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align product activity to business outcomes.

Benefits

  • A competitive salary and benefits package
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with opportunities to travel
  • A comprehensive onboarding and training programme
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development
  • A collaborative, inclusive and supportive work environment
