Data Center Project Engineer

• Provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Sr. Project Manager and construction team. • Manage the RFI (Request for Information) log and process, tracking timely responses and distributing updated information to all relevant parties. • Coordinate the submittal and shop drawing review process between the construction team, engineers, and architects, ensuring design specifications are met. • Conduct detailed quality control (QC) inspections and document progress against the plans and specifications. • Assist with project closeout activities, including organizing final documentation, O&M manuals, and turnover packages for the Operations team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with RFI and submittal management processes and standard industry workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing professional documentation under time pressure.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without letting details fall through the cracks.

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Safety Assurance Engineer– Rail & Transit to lead and deliver safety and risk assurance activities across complex rail and transit projects in Canada and North America.
