Senior Technical Account Manager
Veeam Software
• Build deep understanding of customer business priorities, operating models, IT strategies, and data center environments • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Veeam solutions • Support issue management, escalations, and resolution in collaboration with Support and Engineering teams • Provide guidance on operational planning, risk mitigation, and deployment strategies • Serve as the primary technical advocate for the customer across internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, Engineering, Product, etc.) • Lead regular operational cadence calls and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) • Perform health checks of Veeam environments and recommend optimizations and best practices • Partner with Sales teams to identify new opportunities and drive account growth • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions, best practices, and lessons learned to customers • Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment • Travel up to 50% to support customer engagements
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in Technical Account Management, Pre-Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Deep knowledge of data protection, data management, and backup solutions
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage, networking, and cloud architectures
- Experience supporting enterprise customers and managing complex environments
- Strong troubleshooting, escalation management, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
