Senior GenAI Motion Designer

• Working closely with GenAI Art Directors/Creators/PM’s to bring projects and work from concept to final delivery. • Create and adapt high-quality content leveraging AI and traditional tools. • Produce visual assets that align with client's creative standards and effectively scale creative production across brands and channels. • Expand the creative output of the team. • Confidence in ideation along with the ability to create bespoke high-end animation and video edits is essential. • Take projects from brief to completion, injecting new ideas and creativity - all in close adherence to the client's brand guidelines. • Strong skills in mastering, editing, remastering and adjusting master assets for various crops and formats are required. • The ability to own your creative projects, craft assets that meet briefs and design standards and inspire client with your creative input. • Pitch fresh approaches and concepts confidently. • Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a motion designer in an advertising agency, in-house creative group, or related design studio.
- Proven portfolio of motion design work, representing both traditional and AI-assisted projects. AI can be personal projects or Client related work.
- A strong willingness to adapt current workflow to include GenAI.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Working knowledge of GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Veo3 etc. (Training on our specific platform, Pencil, will be provided.)
- Comfortable with fundamental GenAI techniques like model selection, creative prompting, and collaborative AI-driven ideation.
- A critical eye for detail - able to analyse GenAI-generated outputs, quickly spot subtle errors or inconsistencies, and correct them via prompt refinement or additional editing tools to achieve polished results.
- Strong judgment in evaluating briefs and strategically identifying where and how GenAI can be integrated into the creative workflow for maximum efficiency and impact.
- Any hands-on experience delivering real-world creative using GenAI (desirable).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and a collaborative attitude.
- Optimism about the evolving role of GenAI in creativity, with adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Awareness of legal/ethical considerations in using AI-generated assets.
