Mid-Level AI Developer, Backend, API
Robusta Studio
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services • Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs • Integrate AI/ML models and third-party AI services into applications • Handle database design, optimization, and data processing • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the system
Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)
- Experience building and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience integrating third-party services and APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
- AI-Specific Requirements**
- Experience working with AI/ML APIs or frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts
- Experience handling data preprocessing and model integration is a plus
