Role Description MediClaim Pros is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks, contribute to organizational efficiency, and play a key role in maintaining the high standards that define MediClaim Pros. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the medical practice industry and positively impact the behavioral health community by supporting the essential services our company provides. - Manage daily office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry to support medical billing and revenue cycle processes. - Coordinate communication between clients, insurance payers, and internal departments to facilitate claims processing and resolution. - Maintain and update electronic health records and secure cloud-based databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. - Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and denial management by tracking outstanding items and preparing necessary documentation. - Support credentialing processes by organizing application materials and liaising with relevant organizations and providers. - Prepare reports and summaries related to claims status, reimbursement trends, and administrative metrics for internal review. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies in all administrative activities. Qualifications - Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within the medical practice or healthcare industry is preferred. - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and external stakeholders. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, cloud-based platforms, and common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite. - Familiarity with medical billing terminology, insurance claims processes, and healthcare regulations is a strong advantage. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - A team player with a proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to supporting quality healthcare services.
