Role Description Sanford High School is seeking an energetic, personable person who thrives working in a collaborative professional atmosphere to help transition high school students back into the classroom following an extended absence. We are seeking someone who enjoys building strong rapport with students, has excellent communication skills, and understands the social-emotional needs of students and Restorative Practices, while effectively managing and academically supporting a small group of students transitioning back into the classroom. Using a Restorative approach, this person will help students understand their behaviors, repair any harm caused by their actions, and help eliminate repeat offenses. This person will work with administration, counselors, and teachers on a daily basis. A person working in this position will also work in coordination with an attendance coordinator to assist a small population of students with credit recovery through an online platform. The student success center will provide students with a small, quiet working environment to access online materials. This is an Ed Tech III position, which requires direct supervision of students.
