Recruiter
Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc.
Role Description The recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. Should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, job boards, and employee referrals. - Utilize job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other resources to proactively source exempt and non-exempt roles. - Partner with assigned hiring managers to achieve recruitment objectives while providing superior client service. - Screen and interview applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of open roles and have an in-depth understanding of associated duties and responsibilities. - Schedule interviews with qualified candidates and support hiring managers/candidates through the application process. - Ensure all required documentation/data is recorded in the applicant tracking system in a timely, accurate manner. - Manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive hiring timelines. - Assist with administering recruitment procedures, metrics, and tools to deliver an efficient, effective process and ensure positive hiring manager and candidate experiences. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Associate degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or a related field, plus three to five years’ experience required as a Recruiter. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional experience for hiring managers and candidates. - Strong candidate generation skills. - Working knowledge of MS Office and applicant tracking systems. - Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills. - Prior experience working in a remote environment is preferred. Requirements - This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows: - Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night. - Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace. - Worksurface is stable (flat). - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
