Role Description Med Ops Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Paramedics to serve as Wildland Fire Medical Resources (EMPF) for the upcoming fire season. In this role, you will function as a Single Resource provider, delivering emergency medical care and operational support to wildland firefighters in remote and austere environments. This position requires a high level of independence, adaptability, and the ability to operate in dynamic and physically demanding conditions. You will work under the direction of the on-site Medical Unit Leader (MEDL) and within the medical direction of Dr. Dennis Block, following Wyoming State EMS protocols. - Provide emergency medical care and support to personnel assigned to wildland fire incidents - Operate as a Single Resource provider on the fireline and/or within fire camp medical units - Deliver care in accordance with established protocols, medical direction, and incident command structure - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities - Collaborate with incident command staff, fire personnel, and other medical resources - Ensure readiness and proper use of issued medical equipment and supplies - Operate safely and effectively in remote, austere, and high-risk environments Qualifications - Prior wildland fire experience strongly preferred - Current National Registry (NREMT) certification - Current State Paramedic license - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - NWCG Fire Certifications: S-130, S-190, L-180, Current RT-130 Refresher - NIMS / FEMA Courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800 Requirements - Must have a current “Arduous” Work Capacity Test (Pack Test): 3 miles with 45 lbs in under 45 minutes - Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to deployment Benefits - Deployment Length: Typically 14 days, with potential extensions up to 21 days - Assignments may end prior to 14 days based on USFS needs - Fire vehicle and medical equipment issued at Regional Supply Center - Meals typically provided through fire camp - Must provide personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, etc.) - EMPF (Paramedic): $37.00/hour - Paid for 16 hours per day - Time-and-a-half paid for hours worked over 40 in a work week - Must be willing and able to work extended operational periods in austere environments - Must be available for full deployment duration once assigned

• Conduct focused and thorough assessments of patients with general cardiology and heart failure needs through virtual consultations including ordering diagnostics as needed, interpreting labs and imaging data, and developing a treatment plan in collaboration with the specialty care clinic team. • Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with heart failure and general cardiology clinical conditions, including medication management, volume monitoring and management, and lifestyle modifications. • Initiate, titrate, and manage guideline-directed medical therapies (GDMT) for a diverse group of members with heart failure. • Provide proactive management of heart failure and comorbid conditions, and address potential barriers to optimal care to mitigate the risks of heart failure exacerbation and hospitalizations. • Assess and intervene in weight fluctuations and acute volume overload management of patients who are enrolled in the clinic. • Assess, diagnose, and manage the range of general cardiology conditions that are suitable for virtual care including stable coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, stable atrial arrhythmias, peripheral arterial disease and chronic venous disease. • Collaborate closely with other members of the care team including PCPs, cardiologists and other Devoted team members including pharmacy, clinical nursing, social work, as well as interfacing with family members and caregivers to coordinate holistic care for the member, to ensure continuity of care and deliver a collaborative care plan. • Serve as the clinical advisor and provide clinical escalation support for the speciality clinic staff and other teams during business hours. • Utilize our home grown electronic health information system for visits while also providing feedback on how to improve the interface. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care. • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including patient privacy and telehealth regulations.
