Title: Operational Process Optimization Specialist - Remote, Philippines - Remote, Bulgaria - Remote, India - Remote, Mexico Remote Full time   As an Optimization Specialist, you will contribute to process optimization and operational modeling initiatives. You will document, analyze, and improve business processes to support quality, compliance, audit readiness, and effective decision-making. This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into structured process models and supports continuous improvement across globally distributed teams.   Position Summary Supports and executes process optimization, compliance, and organizational initiatives through structured documentation, data analysis, and process improvement activities. Independently documents and analyzes business processes while contributing to future-state design and audit readiness efforts within regulated and cross-functional environments.   What You’ll Do • Document and maintain end-to-end business processes and data flows using standardized modeling tools, ensuring consistency, traceability, and alignment with defined standards. • Translate current-state processes into clear visual models and contribute to future-state process design initiatives. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and support the design and optimization of processes, systems, training, and communications. • Conduct process and quality assessments to identify risks, gaps, and compliance considerations. • Support small to medium-scale process improvement initiatives and track effectiveness of implemented changes. • Analyze process data and documentation to identify opportunities for operational improvement. • Support audit readiness by ensuring process documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory expectations. • Update and maintain procedural documents to reflect approved process changes. • May provide guidance to less experienced team members.   Education and Experience Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, life sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the role (comparable to 2+ years). - Experience in process analysis, process mapping, quality systems, or operational support within complex or regulated environments is preferred. - Clinical research experience across phases of the study lifecycle is preferred. - In some cases, an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be considered sufficient. - BPMN/process mapping experience - Experience in regulated environments (GxP, clinical, pharma, etc.) - Ability to translate processes into models + documentation - Hands-on process improvement execution   Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Working knowledge of process improvement principles and operational optimization methodologies. • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and identify improvement opportunities. • Understanding of procedural documentation and regulatory guidelines. • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working with operational or clinical systems and strong technical aptitude. • Sound judgment within defined procedures and practices. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.   Scope and Impact • Developing professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. • Works on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of multiple factors. • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices. • Primarily internal contacts, with occasional routine external interactions. • No direct management responsibility.
