Role Description Databricks is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. In this role, you will report to the Senior Finance Manager / Director of Corporate FP&A and help empower the broader FP&A organization. You will play a key role in building and managing core strategic planning processes, as well as partnering with leaders across functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial management. The impact you will have: - Support long and short-term planning processes, including: - Ownership of the planning calendar with clearly communicated timelines, deliverables, and expectations with all planning stakeholders - Ensuring system snapshots are completed accurately and on time - Building driver-based financial models to optimize resource allocation - Preparing executive-ready materials, including financial models, scenario analyses, and presentations - Support financial modeling for capital raising and coordinate across FP&A, Investor Relations, and Treasury - Support the development of Executive and Board reporting materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity of financial insights - Manage ad hoc analyses and strategic projects to support senior leaders across Finance and Investor Relations - Identify and lead process and system optimization initiatives, including opportunities for automation Qualifications - Masters in Business Administration from a top tier program - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking; experience in the software or SaaS industry is a plus - Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including the ability to build and maintain complex financial models - Leverage best-in-class AI to upskill and architect sophisticated, model-driven solutions - Utilize data to uncover outcome driven insights - Ability to grasp the strategic ‘big picture’ - Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines - Understanding of the three statement financial model Requirements - Pay Range Transparency: Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. Job Summary This position is responsible for managing real estate vendors, negotiation, and acquisition of real estate rights in support of the Regulated Renewables Team including Solar and Wind. Limited support to Transmission, Distribution, Nuclear, Fossil, Hydro, Lake Services, Gas Operations, Distributed Energy Resources (Solar), as well as any Corporate needs that may be necessary from time to time. This position will use advanced negotiating strategies to facilitate the acquisition process for full or partial rights in support of regulated renewable business units specifically working with renewable operations. This individual must be familiar with public land records, research, vendor management, among numerous other land use issues. They will work in collaboration with landowners, attorneys, public officials, engineers, surveyors, and others in gaining land rights to support company projects and customer requests. This position is a specialist role and should have the experience and capability for a variety of land rights and exemplary land negotiation skills. This would include purchasing in fee, easement, permitting, licensing, leases as well as conducting property sales and dispositions.
