Role Description The Mobile Developer (Swift) is responsible for creating products and experiences that present Crossway content to the marketplace with truth, beauty, and excellence. This role will be primarily focused on mobile application development. Remote candidates are acceptable, though preference will be given to those who can meet periodically in Wheaton, IL. The Mobile Developer (Swift) will meet on a regular basis with the Director of Mobile Development for the purpose of collaboration, reviewing progress, and evaluating results, and will be prepared to provide updates on the status of assigned responsibilities. Role Description You'll be a core member of a small, high-ownership engineering team building and evolving the distributed microservices backend that powers our app. You'll work across a complex domain – route optimization, schedule ingestion, geo-routing, and carrier data – at real scale, on AWS. This is not a role for someone who waits for specs to land in their inbox. You'll take full ownership of services from design through production, make architectural decisions, and proactively identify and fix problems before they become incidents.
