• Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Develop and maintain data models, including performing data transformations and optimizing queries for performance. • Connect and integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based data services. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and appropriate access controls across reports and dashboards. • Monitor and optimize report performance, usability, and reliability. • Provide documentation, guidance, and training to end users to promote effective use of business intelligence tools. • Continuously enhance reporting solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs. • Support broader analytics initiatives by helping establish best practices for data visualization, reporting, and data governance.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing business intelligence or analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL processes
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and present insights in a clear and meaningful way
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Role Description The Revenue Cycle Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing revenue cycle performance across the organization. This position reports to Revenue Cycle operations. This role leverages data to identify trends, root causes of revenue leakage, and opportunities for process improvement across registration, billing, coding, claims, and reimbursement functions. Under general supervision, the Business Intelligence Analyst II is responsible for the delivery of business intelligence solutions to end users to facilitate their making more informed and actionable business decisions. Uses development tools to generate reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions according to business rules and specifications. Splits time between projects and support activities while adhering to MyMichigan Health’s policies, procedures, and business operations. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or in a team to train, guide, or assist others to perform complex assignments. - Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and review and test software. - Provides subject matter expertise for two or more application modules/data models. Physical/Mental Requirements and Typical Working Conditions - Exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, as well as trauma, grief, and death. - Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position. - Is able to move freely about facility with or without an assisted device and must be able to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description. - Overall vision and hearing is necessary with or without assisted device(s). - Frequently required to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time. May require frequent postural changes such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching. - Some exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious material. Must follow MyMichigan Health bloodborne pathogen and TB testing as required. - Ability to handle multiple tasks, get along with others, work independently, regular and predictable attendance and ability to stay awake. - Overall dexterity is required including handling, reaching, grasping, fingering, and feeling. May require repetition of these movements on a regular to frequent basis.
