Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience administering/supporting networking technologies
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant work experience
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and support multiple customer issues at a time
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on severity of requests
  • Possess a strong curiosity and enjoy learning new technology.
  • An ideal candidate will enjoy troubleshooting and thinking outside the box
  • Possess an excellent work ethic and set an example for others
  • MSP or Professional service experience are bonus points
  • Experience with designing and implementing a network topology consisting of switches and routers
  • Strong understanding of firewall functions such as NAT/PAT and VPN
  • Experience with EIGRP/OSPF/BGP, MPLS/VPLS is a plus
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Radius/LDAP/802.1x
  • Knowledge of Spanning-Tree and Port-Channels
  • Experience with any High Availability concepts: HSRP/VRRP, A/A and A/P.
  • An understanding of SD-WAN, QoS and Traffic Shaping
  • Relevant networking certification or the willingness to obtain a credential is strongly preferred.
