PL/SQL Software Engineer
Ubiminds
• Design, develop, and maintain new features across HRIS modules (Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, CoreHR). • Modernize existing features in a multi-tenant cloud SaaS environment. • Write high-performance Oracle PL/SQL code, following best practices for maintainability and scalability. • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data operations for large datasets and high transaction volumes. • Take ownership of validating your work through shift-left testing—including unit, integration, and regression tests. • Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to speed up development, refactoring, and documentation. • Collaborate with a distributed, agile engineering team across multiple time zones. • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Solid understanding of Oracle RDBMS, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, triggers, and execution plans.
- Experience working in SaaS or transactional systems with complex business logic.
- Ability to design efficient data structures, functions, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with shift-left development: writing tests, validating logic, ensuring correctness.
- Experience using AI development tools to accelerate coding and improve code quality.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience collaborating within distributed, agile teams.
