Role Description This is a senior accounting leadership role for an experienced controller who has operated at the intersection of technical accounting depth, operational rigor, and PE-backed reporting complexity. You will own the full accounting operation globally — the close process, the audit relationship, the compliance certificate, the technical accounting research function, and the team that executes across all of it. You are joining at a moment when the accounting foundation needs to be rebuilt and strengthened. The close book requires a QC overhaul. Role Description The Vice President, Controller will lead and manage the finance and accounting departments by providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future. • Monthly close. You'll own close end-to-end — journal entries through published financials — with a target cadence of 10 business days monthly. • Audit readiness and external audit. You'll stand up documentation and controls for external audit, partner with the CFO on firm selection, and manage fieldwork through to a clean opinion. • The books. Full GL, AP, AR, treasury, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition. You'll have CFO partnership on technical accounting matters and external support available for heavier lifts (ASC 718, 340-40, SAFE conversion) as needed. • Finance systems.
