• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go • Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making • Build and improve solutions for contextual targeting and audience understanding • Experiment with AI, LLMs, and emerging technologies to support product innovation • Develop and optimize workflows and data pipelines for large-scale processing • Collaborate with product managers and team members to define requirements and user stories • Translate business needs into scalable and reliable technical solutions • Prototype new ideas and evolve them into production-ready systems • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and stability

• Lead a cross-functional team of 2–7 engineers, fostering ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Stay hands-on with code while guiding technical decisions and system architecture evolution • Design, review, and evolve system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability • Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, DevOps, and other delivery teams to align solutions with business goals • Mentor developers, conduct regular code and technical reviews, and support individual growth through 1:1 sessions • Influence and improve development processes, engineering best practices, and team workflows • Manage the full development lifecycle, including sprint planning, estimation, delivery tracking, and retrospectives • Contribute to long-term technical vision and grow towards broader technical leadership or architectural roles • Ensure security and data protection requirements are met in regulated environments • Represent the technical team in stakeholder discussions, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs

• Deliver high-level designs and oversee GitLab deployments to customer environments. • Engage with customers under a Statement of Work, driving high-quality outcomes. • Plan and execute migrations from source systems to GitLab. • Provide DevSecOps consulting, including guidance on frameworks like GitLab Flow and DORA best practices. • Lead and mentor Professional Services and partner consultants by coordinating implementation activities. • Partner with Professional Services Engagement Managers, customers, and GitLab Professional Services Engineers to scope and create Statements of Work.

• Prepare client recommendations, proposals, and quotes; develop solution sets. • Develop, document, and communicate recommended plans for Azure/AWS cloud data platform/infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities. • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility. • Develop objectives and strategies, and ensure all documentation is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner. • Responsible for planning activities that define the information needs of the enterprise and designing the master data blueprints to meet those needs within the context of all enterprise data architecture and the connections with information systems, information technologies, and solutions.
