• Designing and developing scalable user-facing features using modern front-end technologies like React JS, and JavaScript; • Ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility; • Optimizing application front end for performance; • Integrate back-end services with the UI layer; • Designing and developing RestFul APIs and microservices that support front-end functionalities; • Creating server-side logic using languages such as Java; • Managing databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing efficient queries; • Implementing security and data protection measures; • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps; • Work closely with other stakeholders and participate in Sprint ceremonies to ensure the alignment with Agile methodologies.

• Build and maintain backend services and tooling that power Spotify’s release coordination workflows • Work on systems that manage release trains, rollout orchestration, and deployment state across services • Collaborate with Platform, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to ensure safe and predictable releases • Contribute to improving developer experience through scalable and reliable internal tooling • Participate in on-call rotations to support release tooling in production • Pair with experienced engineers to grow your technical skills and take on increasing ownership • Learn and contribute to Spotify’s release processes by working closely with Release Managers

• Develop, maintain, and scale core platform functionality within a mature PHP/Symfony codebase • Troubleshoot complex system issues and identify root causes across backend services, APIs, and integrations • Support client-facing technical discussions as needed, particularly for API and integration-related challenges • Build and maintain backend services using PHP 8.x and Symfony, ensuring clean, modular, and well-tested code • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs that support internal systems and external integrations • Manage and optimize database performance, including schema design and query efficiency across MySQL and MongoDB • Contribute to and maintain Node.js-based microservices for real-time processing and internal tooling • Collaborate with an international engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions • Participate in on-call rotation and support production systems as required • Work within modern development practices, including version control, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
