Senior AI Engineer

Avenga

• Design and develop agentic AI systems and orchestration workflows • Build and optimize RAG pipelines and LLM-based solutions • Convert system descriptions (e.g., P&IDs, technical documentation) into structured Knowledge Graphs • Enhance Knowledge Graphs by integrating real-time and external data sources • Develop KG-to-model mapping logic to generate simulation-ready models • Design and implement pipelines using LLMs, VLMs, and ML/DL models for document understanding • Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) • Implement data processing workflows and AI pipelines • Ensure scalability, performance, and observability of systems • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and domain experts

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python (modern versions)
  • Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic or similar)
  • Strong experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
  • Solid understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval optimization
  • Experience designing agentic / multi-agent systems (orchestration flows, supervisor/worker patterns, state management)
  • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Vertex AI RAG Engine, or similar)
  • Strong experience building APIs with FastAPI (or similar frameworks)
  • Good understanding of async programming and handling long-running processes
  • Experience with data modeling and validation frameworks (e.g., Pydantic or similar)
  • Experience with Docker and modern development workflows
  • Experience with Knowledge Graphs and Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j)
  • Understanding of Machine Learning / Deep Learning, including document understanding
  • Experience with Computer Vision / object detection pipelines is a plus.
