• Perform cleaning, organization and integration of data from multiple sources; • Develop and maintain data pipelines to feed statistical models and monitoring dashboards; • Lead feature engineering processes; • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large volumes of data, identifying relevant patterns and trends; • Develop predictive mathematical/statistical and machine learning models focused on credit risk (PD, EAD, LGD); • Ensure models comply with current regulatory requirements; • Monitor model performance and propose continuous improvements; • Create and track risk, efficiency, and performance indicators for rules and models; • Collaborate with technical and business teams, translating technical concepts for diverse audiences; • Ensure appropriate support for internal and external audits and regulatory authorities; • Share knowledge, promote a risk-aware culture, and exchange experiences in a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in related areas;
  • Experience in statistical modeling;
  • Experience/proficiency in Python and SQL;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Knowledge of Databricks and/or PySpark is a plus;
  • Experience with Power BI development is a plus;
  • Prior experience at financial institutions is a plus;
  • Experience with models compliant with Resolution 4.966/21 or IRB is a plus.

Role Description Reporting to the Manager, Solutions Delivery, the Network Analyst will be responsible for the installation, testing and administration of all related data and voice telecommunication, hardware, software and protocols within the solutions delivery network environment. Responsibilities include: - Contributing subject matter expertise to team members in the analysis, design, troubleshooting and implementation of LAN, MAN, WAN, switching, and routing infrastructures to meet departmental goals and mandates. - Providing subject matter expertise to different team members to ensure overall success of network-related projects. - Analyzing existing systems, applications, software and hardware currently within the GN networks and developing capital planning forecasts and related financial project documentation. - Installation, configuration, optimization, testing and administration of the GN’s solution delivery test, staging and development network environment. - Implementation of the TCP/IP protocol suite, including at the packet level. - Monitoring Syslog logging, RADIUS/TACACS server administration, Cisco Netflow traffic analysis and network configuration management. - Configuring and utilizing protocol analyzers such as Wireshark or NetScout Sniffer Global to troubleshoot network and application problems. - Adhering strictly to Change Management procedures and direction from management relating to any standard variances that have been identified before taking corrective action in accordance with accepted ITIL standards. Qualifications - Recognized college diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related Engineering Program. - Four (4) years of recent, progressive experience in a large (over 750 devices) complex enterprise-wide WAN/MAN/LAN routing/switching networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors. - Three (3) years of demonstrated design, installation, configuration and support of network routing/switching equipment and their related protocols. - Experience analyzing departmental standard operating procedures, guidelines, policies and business processes. - Current vendor certifications where the GN has standard on manufacturers such as Cisco, Mitel, F5, Juniper Networks and Riverbed or equivalent. - Experience in project and contract administration within an enterprise level IM/IT environment (asset). - Exposure to satellite networks (asset). Requirements - This is a Position of Trust and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required. - Fluency in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages (Inuktut, English, French) would be considered an asset. - Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut, and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment are also considered assets. - Acceptable combinations of education and experience may be considered for this position.
