Role Description Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are looking for a Multilingual Prompt Designer on a contract basis. - Create detailed prompts in German and/or English with constraints and instructions. - Ensure natural phrasing and relevance for German-speaking users. - Establish high-level expectations for correct responses in German consumer contexts. - Develop comprehensive rubrics accounting for linguistic nuance and cultural conventions. - Run prompts through models and assess outputs for accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit in German. - Compare results against English where needed. - Collaborate in QA review processes to ensure consistency and reliability across German-language benchmarks before integration into official evaluations. - Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. Qualifications - Native-level fluency in German (written) with strong reading/writing ability in English. - BS or BA from a reputable institution (completed or in progress). - Strong writing and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Significant familiarity with ChatGPT or similar tools. - Based in Germany (or able to reliably produce Germany-specific, culturally accurate German).
