• Ensure we build, scale, ship, and monitor our AI and Agent platforms reliably, leveraging technologies such as Java, Python, MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis, AWS, and Kubernetes. • Integrate generative AI and agentic AI across Sprout’s existing ecosystem and infrastructure, helping define and build frameworks for platform AI enablement. • Build with AI and agentic AI in your own work, using tools such as Claude Code. • Influence and contribute to technical roadmaps by researching and prototyping emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and state of the art methods. • Partner with product managers, designers, applied AI/ML scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and complete feature work. • Uphold project quality and planning through meeting deadlines, breaking down work, and ensuring proper testing and monitoring. • Contribute to the team’s growth through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and providing feedback on PRs and technical designs.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js (backend) and React (frontend) • Build clean, efficient, and reusable code with a strong focus on performance and scalability • Architect and develop robust RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs • Handle complex backend logic, integrations, and system workflows • Integrate and work with AI/LLM-based solutions (e.g., Claude or similar platforms) • Identify opportunities to enhance products using AI-driven features • Collaborate on implementing AI-powered use cases into existing systems • Utilize Python for scripting, backend services, or AI-related integrations where required • Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Optimize queries, ensure data integrity, and handle large-scale data efficiently • Contribute to high-level architecture decisions and system design • Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of applications • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code • Take complete ownership of features/modules from design to deployment

• Take responsibility for the full software development lifecycle, from refining requirements and creating concepts to implementing, testing, and maintaining software in the long term. • Develop and ship well-defined features and API endpoints using Kotlin and Spring Boot. • Handle smaller maintenance tasks and develop new frontend features using TypeScript and React to support our web applications. • Deeply integrate AI coding agents into your daily workflow to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex logic tasks. • Implement clear, concise, and well-tested code, ensuring high test coverage and adhering to clean code principles. • Pair effectively with other engineers on features, infrastructure code, and production incidents, while participating in design discussions for features and bug fixes. • Identify and communicate problems with product teams and processes, and actively participate in team meetings and retrospectives.

• Rapidly prototype and deploy AI features that enhance search, recommendations, and automation. • Leverage AI to reduce friction in workflows, personalize interactions, and surface key insights. • Develop AI-driven analytics and automation tools that help users make better decisions, faster. • Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend engineers to build AI-powered UI components that feel native, intuitive, and useful.
