Purpose The Secondary Online Teacher serves students in grades 9–12 by delivering high-quality virtual instruction in a core subject area. This role emphasizes effective teaching practices, proactive communication with students and families, ongoing progress monitoring, and collaboration through the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to promote student success. Teachers also support college and career readiness, including Advanced Placement (AP) coursework where applicable, and provide technical guidance and learning management system navigation to help students effectively engage with their online learning environment.
