AI Data Analytics Content Expert – Contract

• Design and develop instructional materials, including written assets, step-by-step walkthroughs, and recorded video demos • Review task scenarios for authenticity and accuracy, ensuring they reflect real-world analyst practice — including the messy, ambiguous version of the job, not an idealized one • Identify opportunities where AI tools enhance analyst workflows, distinguishing between new capabilities (Feature: something that couldn't be done before) and efficiency gains (Efficiency: doing something faster or with fewer resources) • Assess skills alignment — evaluating whether course content covers what learners genuinely need to complete each task, and flagging anything missing, missequenced, or tangential • Record and edit instructional videos and software demo walkthroughs; deliver publish-ready video files per format and quality specifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst in an industry setting (not purely academic)
  • Currently working in the field, or with hands-on data analysis experience within the last 2 years
  • Proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced), Python or R, and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent)
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Working knowledge of statistical concepts: distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, and A/B testing
  • Demonstrated, practical experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, GitHub Copilot) in real analyst workflows — not just light personal use
  • Proficiency with screen recording and video editing software (Camtasia, Loom, OBS Studio, ScreenFlow, or equivalent); candidates must own or have access to their preferred tool
  • Comfortable with voiceover narration or on-camera delivery at a pace appropriate for instructional content
  • Strong written communication skills; content must be clear, accurate, and well-organized
  • Ability to work independently and asynchronously with a distributed team.
