Portfolio Manager

CAPTRUST

• Evaluate accounts and investment strategies to design and execute implementation plans that migrate accounts to centralized resources, ensuring compliance with stated strategy guidelines and client-specific restrictions • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and effectively articulate internal processes and strategic direction to key decision-makers, driving successful transitions to centralized resources • Develop, document, and review implementation proposals, ensuring all transitions comply with advisors and client requirements and constraints • Clearly communicate plan and expectations to internal stakeholders • Manage administrative changes for accounts in the CAPTRUST rebalancing and trading platform • Manage data integrity in the CAPTRUST rebalancing and trading platform • Collaborate and communicate with the Mergers and Acquisitions Team, Integrations, Investment Group, Advisor teams, and Trading Teams regularly • Review and implement trades for accounts due to contributions, distributions, asset allocation changes, or other changes while ensuring the accounts are in line with the strategy after such events take place • Assist or run point on ad hoc requests within the team or from other teams as needed • Review and maintain key performance data for the team to report on a quarterly basis

Job Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of professional experience in portfolio management or investment implementation within a wealth management or RIA environment
  • Demonstrated success executing portfolio transitions, implementation plans, or strategy migrations across client accounts with varying levels of complexity
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation, investment strategies, and portfolio construction principles
  • Proven experience evaluating portfolios against model strategy guidelines and client‑specific constraints
  • Knowledgeable in rebalancing and trading platforms, including account setup, administrative changes, and data integrity oversight
  • Ability to communicate complex investment, risk, and portfolio information clearly and effectively to internal leadership and external partners
