Job Description: About the Team The eBay Collectibles team is at the forefront of the fastest-growing vertical on the platform, dedicated to being the world’s most trusted and vibrant marketplace for collectors. We cover an extensive range of enthusiast led categories, including Trading Cards, Sports Memorabilia, Coins & Currency, Comics, Toys, and more. We are a data-driven, fast-paced, and customer-focused team aiming to improve the buyer and seller experience, ensuring authenticity, and driving market leadership. The Opportunity As a Site Merchandising Associate, you will drive execution of data-informed onsite and native experiences that inspire buyers and improve conversion across key discovery surfaces. You’ll partner cross-functionally to bring campaigns and editorial moments to life, while using performance insights to continuously optimize the customer journey from inspiration to purchase. Schedule: 9:00AM - 5:00PM ; Monday - Friday What You Will Accomplish: - Analyze and monitor core site performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion), translating data into actionable insights that improve onsite experiences. - Manage the daily health and visual merchandising of Collectibles web and native experience. Ensure that the core experience is fresh, relevant and optimized for conversion. - Own end-to-end execution of high-impact merchandising moments, from initial brief and cross-functional kick-offs to final QA and post-launch reporting. - Lead cross-functional project timelines, ensuring Creative, Marketing, and Category partners stay on track to meet strict launch deadlines. - Identify trends in customer behavior and shopping patterns to inform merchandising strategies and improve product discovery. - Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Marketing, Creative, and Category teams to align on priorities, timelines, and execution plans. - Communicate performance results and key insights through clear, structured recaps and stakeholder updates. - Ensure accuracy and quality across all onsite experiences, maintaining high standards for site integrity and customer experience. - Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and process improvements that scale merchandising operations. - Support initiatives that improve inspiration-led shopping, including personalization, visual discovery, and new platform capabilities. What You Will Bring: - 2–4 years of experience in ecommerce, site merchandising, digital marketing, or a related field. - Strong analytical skills with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, or business intelligence tools to interpret data and inform decisions. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams. - High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over execution and outcomes. - Passion for collecting, ecommerce, and crafting engaging digital shopping experiences. Preferred - Experience with onsite merchandising tools, CMS platforms, or experimentation frameworks (A/B testing). - Familiarity with personalization strategies or customer segmentation. - Background in editorial storytelling, trend curation, or ecommerce experiences emphasizing visual presentation. Additional Details The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $61,600 - $103,600 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
