QA Mobile Automation Engineer
Resilient Co.
• Design and execute manual test plans and test cases for mobile features and releases. • Develop, maintain, and run mobile functional automation tests for iOS or Android. • Investigate, reproduce, and document defects; work with engineering to prioritize fixes. • Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure release readiness. • Create clear, actionable test reports and status updates for stakeholders. • Review and improve test processes, tooling, and coverage to increase efficiency. • Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to Agile planning and estimations. • Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices for mobile testing and debugging.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mobile functional automation testing.
- Proven experience testing iOS and Android applications.
- Hands-on experience with Espresso, JetPack Compose, and/or XCUITest for automation.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Practical experience with Manual Testing and Automation Testing, with an expected split of ~50-60% manual and ~40% automation work.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Comfortable working in Agile Methodologies and participating in team ceremonies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Collaborative team player who can work across product and engineering teams.
