Regional Technical Service Manager SEA

Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate technical service support across SEA region ( Food industry ) - Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting for customers, OEMs, and sales teams - Perform equipment / plant inspections and lubrication assessments - Prepare professional technical reports and product recommendations - Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships through technical engagement - Work closely with sales teams to support customer visits and solution-based selling - Support OEM technical recommendations and approvals - Contribute to product improvement and feedback to regional/global teams - Participate in technical events, exhibitions, and industry seminars - Provide technical input on market trends and customer needs (non-commercial) - Develop technical reports and recommendations for customers - Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes and tools - Support regional initiatives related to technical service excellence and customer experience - Manage local and regional business requirements like training, use technology link to all stakeholders (KL Sales & Channel Partners), create platform’s to reinforce knowledge improvement. - Provide on-spot technical service and trouble-shooting solving for the existing customers’ expectation. - Deliver technical training, seminars, and workshops for customers and sales teams - Initiate, maximize opportunities with focus on OEM operation of existing and new approvals / recommendations with activities at their subsidiaries in the region. - Special projects and assignments by superior and required by business Qualifications: - Engineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical or related field) - Minimum 8 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or application engineering, preferably within the lubrication / specialty lubricants industry - Strong hands-on experience in lubrication systems, tribology, or industrial maintenance practices - Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for industrial applications - Experience working with industrial customers and OEMs, ideally in sectors such as cement, steel, food, or manufacturing - Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capability - Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) - Willingness to travel regionally The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
