Overview Continued growth at VytlOne (formerly Maxor) has created an opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing Specialty Pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician or Customer Service professional with retail pharmacy or high volume experience to make a positive impact in the lives of the patients we care for, working with a devoted pharmacy operations team. The estimated compensation for this position is $19 an hour. Responsibilities Responsibilities - Meets performance standards and expectations. - Follows all Company policies and procedures. - Assists with projects as necessary. - Assists other areas as needed. - Assists in compiling necessary reports and/or audit information as requested. - Works cooperatively with other staff members to promote a positive and team oriented work environment. - Assists in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy. - Participates in the Performance Improvement/Quality Management Process. - Maintains accurate and complete patient records. - Participates in pharmacy orientation programs, training programs, pharmacy staff meetings, in-services, and other programs as required. - Exemplifies excellence in customer communications and service. - Meets performance standards and expectations. - Has a good understanding and working knowledge of all Maxor policies and procedures, accreditation requirements and HIPAA operational guidelines. - May be included in after hours on-call rotation. - Maintains regular attendance per established policies. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Patient Care Coordinator Job Duties: - Answer new referral intake and/or refill calls in a timely and professional manner. - Accurately updates information in the computer system. - Contact patient to collect information necessary to establish his/her medical chart. - Schedules delivery for patient refills. - Sets up shipping arrangements as needed. - Participates in the Performance Improvement Process. - Assists in co-pay collections, which require communication with the patient. - Works cooperatively with others in all departments. - Maintains accurate and complete patient records. - Participates in pharmacy orientation programs, training programs, pharmacy staff meetings, in-services, and other programs as required. - Exemplifies excellence in customer communications and service standards. - Has a good understanding and working knowledge of all Maxor policies and procedures, and HIPAA operational guidelines, Medicare requirements and other contract guidelines. - Participates in after hour’s on-call rotation – voluntary, not required. - Maintains good inter/intra departmental relationships. Works to create an amiable atmosphere within the department and company. - Responds to change, performance improvement support, professional growth, and met development goals Qualifications Education: - High school diploma or equivalent.
