Paired
• Edit 3 long-form YouTube videos per week (10+ minutes each) with strong pacing and retention focus • Create 16–20 short-form videos per week from long-form content or raw footage • Deliver rough drafts within 24 hours for long-form videos • Apply YouTube best practices (hooks, intros, storytelling, captions, thumbnails awareness) • Produce engaging short-form content with strong hooks, text overlays, and fast pacing • Work with AI-generated content, including avatar videos and voice cloning • Generate or integrate AI-based B-roll footage where needed • Collaborate closely with the client and respond quickly during overlapping working hours • Maintain organized file management and efficient editing workflows
Job Requirements
- Proven experience editing YouTube and social media content **(proven portfolio required)**
- Strong understanding of viewer retention, hooks, and pacing
- Ability to handle high-volume editing with fast turnaround
- Proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, etc
- Experience or familiarity with AI tools (e.g., AI video, voice cloning, or similar platforms) is a strong advantage
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Highly responsive communicator** (available for 2–3 hours overlap with US Central Time)**

In this role, you will work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams to produce video materials that elevate BJAK’s brand and drive audience engagement across platforms. This position is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in videography and editing, strong creative instincts, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Creative Direction & Production - Assist in developing creative concepts and visual approaches for BJAK’s video content - Plan, storyboard, and execute video shoots for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS) - Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage - Produce content ranging from corporate storytelling to fast-turnaround social media videos 2. Post-Production - Edit videos with strong attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual quality - Perform color grading, sound design, basic motion graphics, and subtitling - Ensure consistency and alignment with BJAK’s brand identity across all content - Manage multiple editing timelines while ensuring on-time delivery 3. Collaboration - Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams to bring ideas to life - Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively - Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce cohesive content - (Optional) Support or guide interns/junior editors when needed — not a formal leadership role, but collaborative 4.
