Air Apps
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve infrastructure reliability. • Establish and enforce security best practices, including identity management, logging, and vulnerability management. • Work with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and troubleshoot infrastructure issues. • Optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system maintenance. • Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Around 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization, scalability, and high-availability architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Role Description APT Research is hiring an Explosives Safety Site Planner to perform explosives safety site planning (ESSP) support at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This position can be operated remotely. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Perform comprehensive technical reviews of all new and amended explosives safety site plans (ESSP). - Develop Quantity-Distance (QD) and New Explosives Weight (NEW) calculations using mandated government software (i.e. Explosives Safety Siting (ESS)). - Develop risk assessments that balance mission needs with personnel and property protection when standard QD criteria cannot be met. - Prepare and manage all documentation required for the routing and final approval of ESSP packages through military installation and higher headquarters levels. - Provide expert recommendations to the government on the acceptability of proposed plans and mitigation strategies. - Advise the government and tenant organizations on the interpretation and application of DoD(W) and Air Force explosives safety criteria. - Maintain a current and expert-level proficiency with the DoD(W) ESS software suite. - Analyze and recommend solutions for complex ESSP challenges, including the development of compensatory measures, waivers, or exemptions. Qualifications - A minimum of ten years of experience in DoD(W) explosives safety. - Verifiable experience having served as the lead Explosives Safety Manager or primary Explosives Safety Site Planner at a US Air Force or US Space Force installation for a minimum of 12 months within the last 36 months. - Demonstrated ability to multitask by working on Explosives Safety Site Plans for multiple concurrent projects. - Good people skills are required, as this person will be expected to interact directly with our customer and working group participants, as well as with other APT personnel. - Demonstrated quality writing & editing skills for reports and other communications. - Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. Requirements - A SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required.
