• Support the implementation and maintenance of DevSecOps pipelines, tools, and processes to enable secure and efficient software delivery. • Work within a team of engineers to integrate automation and security practices into the development lifecycle while supporting mission and program objectives. • Assist in configuring CI/CD pipelines, integrating security tools, and supporting system interfaces under the guidance of senior engineers. • Contribute to troubleshooting pipeline issues, improving automation workflows, and ensuring adherence to established DevSecOps standards. • Focus on building technical proficiency in modern DevSecOps practices, cloud platforms, and security integration while contributing to team delivery and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting DevOps or DevSecOps activities within a development team.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable contractor fitness determination
- Experience working with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern application deployment practices.
- Ability to support implementation and maintenance of DevSecOps pipelines.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience supporting integration of basic security practices into development pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot pipeline issues and support system integration activities.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of DevSecOps principles, including automation, infrastructure as code, and security integration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.
- Demonstrated interest in learning and applying modern DevSecOps tools and practices.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting processes and configurations.
- High professional discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive systems.

• Design, implement, and validate disaster recovery architectures for relational, NoSQL, and managed data services across AWS, Azure, or GCP • Plan and execute database migration cutovers including blue-green database swaps, read-replica promotion, and zero-downtime schema migration workflows • Architect replication topologies (cross-region, cross-account, active-passive, active-active) and validate RPO/RTO targets through runbook-driven DR drills • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code for data platform provisioning (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift, managed Kafka/MSK, etc.) using Terraform, Atlantis, and/or CloudFormation • Design backup, snapshot, and point-in-time recovery strategies with automated validation and alerting • Develop automation tooling for data platform operations: failover orchestration, health checks, capacity scaling, and credential rotation • Implement observability for data infrastructure—replication lag monitoring, connection pool health, query performance baselines, and storage growth forecasting • Support production workload migrations including data tier cutovers with rollback plans and data integrity verification • Contribute to multi-tenant Kubernetes platform operations where data services intersect (e.g., External Secrets Operator for DB credentials, sidecar patterns for connection pooling) • Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums, providing data architecture guidance and operational status • Document runbooks, architecture decision records (ADRs), and operational playbooks for data platform operations
