What you'll do We're looking for a skilled Technical Writer to own documentation across the full content lifecycle, from customer-facing help content and in-platform guidance to internal process documentation and UX copy. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, marketing, and customer-facing teams to make complex systems clear and accessible for a range of audiences. - Write and maintain external user guides, help content, and customer-facing documentation that make our product easy to understand and use. - Develop internal process documentation and best practices content to support consistency and knowledge-sharing across teams. - Collaborate with design teams to write clear, concise UX copy, including tooltips, error messages, and microcopy. - Create release notes that communicate new features and product updates clearly at launch. - Build and publish in-platform guidance, including release announcements and technical advisories. - Train and improve AI tools, including chatbots and agents, on new and existing documentation and highly structured knowledge bases. - Partner closely with product managers, engineers, operations, and support teams to gather information and review content. - Own information architecture and search optimization with a clear eye on content structure so users can efficiently find the information they need. - Maintain consistency in voice, style, and formatting across the documentation ecosystem. Who You Are - 2–3 years of experience in a technical writing, documentation, or content-focused role. - Strong ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language approachable for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Demonstrated experience with information architecture, including structuring and organizing content for discoverability and ease of use. - Proven ability to interview and work with subject-matter experts to gather information and affirm content accuracy. - Comfort navigating ambiguity, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment. - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows, including working within sprint cycles and release cadences. - Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of documentation types and audiences. - Experience with or interest in AI tools, chatbot training, or prompt-based content workflows. - Exceptional written communication and attention to detail. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidate's skills, experience and qualifications.
