FX Operations

Binance

• Oversee end-to-end FX conversion operations including quote management, trade execution, and settlement across multiple banking API partners • Monitor real-time FX pricing engine performance — ensuring rate refresh latency, rate-lock accuracy, and best-rate vendor selection meet defined SLAs (99.9% uptime, 100% best-rate accuracy) • Manage and optimize intelligent vendor selection logic: net cost scoring, settlement speed, provider health scores, and geographic compliance checks • Handle escalations for failed transactions, rate staleness events, and provider API errors; drive root-cause resolution • Own daily reconciliation across all currency inflows/outflows (T+1 target; 99.99% accuracy SLA) • Coordinate settlement flows across ISO 20022-compliant rails; resolve discrepancies • Partner with Finance and Clearing teams to maintain clean books and audit-ready records • Produce daily/weekly/monthly operations and reconciliation reports for senior management • Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners • Monitor liquidity depth for large transactions (>USD 50,000), ensuring competitive pricing and execution • Evaluate and onboard new liquidity providers; contribute to the multi-bank API integration roadmap • Negotiate FX spread tiers and volume incentives with providers • Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure FX operations adhere to applicable regulations across all supported currency corridors • Monitor and enforce provider failover thresholds (>1% error rate triggers automatic exclusion) • Support the MLRO and compliance function with transaction monitoring, AML flags, and regulatory reporting as required • Maintain operational controls around MFA, risk controls, and FX desk licensing requirements (e.g., Nest Trading Limited expansion) • Partner with Product and Tech teams on new feature rollouts: recurring conversions, rate alerts, multi-currency wallet transfers, and remittance corridors • Contribute operational requirements and UAT support for new currency pair launches • Liaise with Customer Service on FX-related escalations; maintain SOP documentation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above, prefer majoring in finance/International Business
  • 5+ years experience in payment industry or FX operations fields.
  • Interested in Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and trading or finance/banking/payments industry.
  • Attention to detail with excellent communication skills and patience.
  • Data-savvy, understand basic metrics of operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and discover answers quickly and effectively.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Cooperative with strong team spirit and a willingness to motivate colleagues on the Customer Support Team.
  • Fluent in English
