Responsibilities - Identify and establish relationships with new and existing shippers and carriers. - Negotiate freight rates and contracts to maximize profitability. - Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. - Maintain detailed records of shipments, contracts, and communications. - Resolve any issues or delays in freight transportation promptly. - Develop and implement strategies to expand your freight brokerage business. - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a freight broker or independent freight agent.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own client portfolio effectively.
- Familiarity with freight management software and online load boards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid freight broker license or relevant certifications are preferred.

- At least one active shipper customer with consistent load activity
- 6+ months Independent Freight Agent experience OR 2+ years logistics sales and dispatch experience
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to grow a book of business
- Professional communication skills and consistent follow-through
- Ability to operate as a 1099 contractor
- U.S.-based professional moving freight within U.S., Canada, and Mexico lanes

Role Description The Regional Sales Coordinator is responsible for building and fostering strong customer relationships in their assigned regions. They will partner closely with retail stores and their sales leadership team to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization inclusive of event attendance and team training. Duties and Responsibilities - Sales Management - Drives for Results: Focuses energy on high return and profitable opportunities.
