As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a AWS Cloud Architect - Master-Level. Project Summary AIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Responsible for new cloud architecture design, development and integration of new architectural features into existing cloud infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. - Lead multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of cybersecurity system architecture. - Able to apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to a cloud architectural framework. - Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs for the cloud hosting environment. - Provide broad based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and specific cyber security initiatives relating to cloud architectural design and development. - Resolve cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and test. - Interface with internal and external entities for various solution related activities. - Ability to develop and deliver end-to-end, complex, enterprise level solutions that meet current and future capability requirements. - Recognized industry authority with technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines. - Complexity of work is state of the art and may be new to the company and to the industry. Required For This Opportunity - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 15+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments. - Certifications: IAT-2, 2 or more cloud certifications. - Active Secret clearance. - Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
