Key Responsibilities - Own and maintain development standards, coding guidelines, and architectural patterns for the AI & Automation team - Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical sign-off on solution designs before development commences - Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tooling and frameworks aligned with AWS-first architecture - Engage with business stakeholders to define the problem statement, requirements, and processes - Design, develop and deploy production-grade AI and automation solutions using Amazon Bedrock, Python, AI orchestration, and AWS serverless services - Own end-to-end CI/CD pipeline design, configuration and improvement using GitLab; approve peer merge requests before code progresses to Dev/Test or Production - Take ongoing ownership of deployed AI solutions in production, including monitoring, incident response and post-incident review Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong focus on AI/ML systems - Strong proficiency in Python (API development, automation, data processing) - Hands-on experience building and deploying production AI applications on Amazon Bedrock, including model selection, prompt engineering, and guardrail configuration - Deep experience with CI/CD pipeline design and ownership, preferably in GitLab - Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including AWS serverless architecture - Proven ability to define, document and enforce coding and development standards in a team environment - Experience performing code review and GitLab merge approval at a senior level - Demonstrated ability to deliver AI solutions with measurable revenue uplift or cost reduction.
