Quality Systems Engineer

Description The Quality Systems Engineer at Hyper Solutions is responsible for maintaining and improving Hyper’s Quality Management System (QMS) while supporting supplier quality oversight and operational quality analytics across multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures compliance with industry standards while helping scale quality systems and reporting infrastructure as Hyper continues to grow. This position plays a key role in transforming quality data into actionable insights that improve supplier performance, inspection processes, and operational efficiency. The Quality Systems Engineer works cross-functionally with operations, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to strengthen quality processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Core Responsibilities - Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and related industry standards. - Manage and analyze quality datasets related to supplier performance, inspections, and manufacturing operations. - Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reporting tools to support performance monitoring and decision-making. - Support supplier quality oversight across multiple manufacturing sites and maintain supplier performance metrics. - Identify trends and insights from quality data to support operational and supplier improvement initiatives. - Design and implement improved inspection standards and quality control methodologies. Additional Responsibilities - Perform data validation, cleaning, and analysis to ensure accuracy of quality metrics and reporting. - Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives related to supplier or manufacturing quality issues. - Maintain documentation, procedures, and records required for QMS compliance and audit readiness. - Partner with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to improve quality processes and reporting visibility. - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and operational efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day - Managing and analyzing supplier quality and inspection data across multiple manufacturing sites. - Maintaining quality dashboards and reporting tools used by leadership and operational teams. - Supporting internal and supplier quality investigations through data analysis and reporting. - Updating QMS documentation and ensuring processes remain compliant with quality standards. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve inspection processes and operational performance. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, or related technical field. - Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with quality systems or in a related field. - Experience managing large datasets and performing data analysis in operational or manufacturing environments. - Experience supporting supplier quality or manufacturing quality programs. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred - Experience with quality systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO/IEC 17025. - Experience using data visualization or reporting tools such as Domo. - Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite. - Experience developing quality dashboards or reporting systems. - Familiarity with quality inspection processes and manufacturing quality controls. Compensation The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $90,000 -$110,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
