Superintendent
ADAMS CONTRACTING, LLC
• Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and plans. • Direct the day-to-day work of all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and suppliers, to maintain workflow and prevent delays. • Interpret and implement construction layouts from surveyor's stakes with precision. • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections. • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with regulations. • Conduct daily safety talks and weekly toolbox safety meetings. • Submit equipment inspections, daily reports, and all other weekly reporting to the office. • Operate construction equipment as needed to support project goals, maintaining proficiency in relevant equipment. • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of all equipment on-site, coordinating with the Operations Manager to ensure equipment availability and functionality. • Lead and motivate on-site teams, promoting a high-performance culture. • Facilitate communication between on-site teams, the Project Manager, and other stakeholders. • Manage on-site resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment. • Identify potential issues promptly and develop effective solutions. • Address project-related challenges to minimize disruptions. • Maintain accurate on-site documentation and reports for project progress. • Ensure timely submission of reports to the Project Manager and office. • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders. • Ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Job Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in supervising heavy/highway construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage on-site operations effectively and efficiently.
- Competence in interpreting plans, specifications, and implementing construction layouts from surveyor's stakes.
- Experience operating construction equipment is required, with the ability to operate machinery as needed on-site.
- Familiarity with DOT, COE, and other regulatory requirements is highly desirable.

• Deliver engaging narrative led introductions and destination insights. • Manage on tour logistics, transport, accommodation, timings, liaising with suppliers to coordinate and reconfirm bookings on our multi day tours. • Serve as the go to support for guests - personally, socially, and operationally. • Lead with energy, even under pressure, and resolve issues calmly and creatively. • Maintain group morale and ensure every guest feels included and informed. • Day to day accounting.
