Account Executive
Subquadratic
• Own a defined book of business and close new revenue across mid-market and enterprise accounts • Prospect into product, engineering, and AI leadership teams using a mix of outbound and inbound motion • Run disciplined discovery to understand usage patterns, performance bottlenecks, and cost drivers • Lead technical demos and evaluations in partnership with engineering when needed • Navigate multi-stakeholder deals from testing, proof-of-concept through contract execution • Negotiate pricing, usage commitments, and commercial terms • Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline and forecast • Hand off closed deals cleanly to onboarding and support while staying commercially accountable
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years closing B2B SaaS or platform deals, ideally in APIs, infrastructure, or developer-first products
- Proven ability to sell complex products with technical buyers
- Comfortable prospecting and building pipeline from scratch
- Strong command of discovery, deal qualification, and close mechanics
- Able to articulate value in terms of performance, reliability, and cost, not buzzwords
- Organized, direct, and accountable with CRM hygiene and forecasting
- Motivated by ownership and outcomes, not brand name or resume padding
- Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience selling APIs, usage-based pricing, or infrastructure products; Background in AI, data, dev tools, or contact center software; Early-stage startup experience where you had to figure things out
