• Conducts administrative office coordination assuring smooth, timely, and efficient team operations by following established policies and procedures. • Manages research, collection, analysis, and compilation of data and information for department reports as needed. • Maintains key team schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage of Utilization Management activities including on-call and OOO calendars. • Drives onboarding activities as needed as new Medical Directors are hired, including system access requests, hardware requests and other key items from a comprehensive onboarding checklist. • Defines a high degree of customer service by fielding internal and external (less frequent) inquiries, resolving or redirecting as appropriate. • Manages workflow for incoming items to ensure that issues are directed to the appropriate area, particularly in Manager's absence. • Monitors status of delegated items to ensure closure. • Some of work may involve confidential business material. • Organizes, prioritizes, and responds to email or directs to appropriate area for response. • Monitors status to ensure closure. • May participate in special projects as needed.
