Your contributions will focus on bringing the next generation of athlete performance data, across a variety of sports, to teams worldwide. Job Summary: The Software Engineer – Front End will work alongside the larger KinaTrax product development team with a particular focus on KinaTrax data visualization tools including but not limited to KinaTrax Dugout. KinaTrax Dugout is a baseball specific web application tool which allows our clients flexibility for analyzing, comparing, and interpreting their KinaTrax data. You will be tasked with maintaining the current web application tools and assisting with further development efforts, including but not limited to the addition of new UI features and biomechanics metrics based on client needs. You will also be tasked with leading the integration of novel data sources into pre-existing and future web applications with the goal of developing data visualization tools that can be used for applied purposes based on sport specific needs. You will work alongside other members of the development team to ensure that KinaTrax data visualization tools continue to progress based on industry trends and the incorporation of client feedback. As part of your role, you may collaborate with other members of the product development team on specific projects outside of the data visualization space, where at times you may be expected to be a task or project lead. Key Responsibilities: - Continued development of the KinaTrax Dugout web application tool based on company needs and client requests. - Lead the maintenance of pre-existing functions and dependencies in the KinaTrax Dugout web application tool. - Development of new software applications, with priority on the development of web reporting applications for additional sports (i.e. NBA, NHL). - Implement reusable components and contribute to improving the shared component library across web reporting applications. - Integration of data using API concepts from a variety of sources, with the aim of optimizing data ingestion. - Utilize data-driven solutions to ensure company information is stored effectively and securely. - Perform proper quality assurance testing when implementing development changes to production. - Work closely with other developers and clients when applicable to improve site design and overall user experience. - Stay up to date with front-end trends and bring forward suggestions for tools or techniques that improve productivity or code quality. - Update user documentation based on UI changes and data availability. - Assist with non-data visualization product development tasks. Qualifications/Experience: - Proficient in programming languages including JavaScript (React, Node.js), HTML, CSS. - Proficient with integration of browser APIs for optimizing data ingestion for visualization purposes. - Experience in using cloud storage and computing platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, Dropbox). - Experience using coding concepts aimed at optimizing performance and memory efficiency. - Experience using Git for code collaboration purposes. - Proven ability to work in a team setting, preferably as part of a product development team. - Passion for sports and the use of athlete performance metrics. Additional Information: - Extended periods of computer usage. - Some travel to company locations and client sites may be needed.

• Architect, design, and implement modern, scalable user interfaces in close collaboration with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers. • Develop and maintain applications using Angular (version 7 and above), following established best practices and architectural patterns. • Build highly performant, intuitive, and accessible user experiences optimized for responsiveness and usability. • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code supported by comprehensive unit and integration tests. • Participate in release activities, monitor production deployments, and troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues. • Contribute to continuous improvement of front-end standards, tooling, and development processes.

• Frontend development across web and native mobile platforms (React, Angular, TypeScript, iOS, Android). • Contribute to and evolve a modular, scalable micro-frontend architecture. • Build reusable frontend components and shared client frameworks. • Optimize performance and responsiveness across devices, with particular focus on mobile reliability and efficiency. • Establish best practices for SDK integrations, consent enforcement, observability, and client performance. • Design and implement structured event instrumentation frameworks across web and mobile applications. • Instrument native iOS and Android applications, including analytics/CDP SDK integration with attention to performance, batching, offline handling, and reliability. • Define, version, and govern structured event schemas and taxonomy standards. • Architect scalable integration patterns between client applications, backend services, and downstream data platforms. • Ensure event data is reliable, well-structured, and suitable for streaming, analytics, identity resolution, and activation use cases. • Support monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement of client event pipelines. • Partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align instrumentation and architecture with business objectives. • Participate in architectural discussions that shape long-term platform modernization. • Balance ongoing support needs with forward-looking architectural improvements. • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and elevate frontend and mobile engineering standards. • Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
