• Ownership and management of all project delivery elements for individual and/or groups of client projects, utilizing standard processes and procedures to achieve client satisfaction. • Key responsibilities include but are not limited to managing budget and timelines, food and beverage, function space management, themed events, audio visual and production, merchandise, activity planning and sourcing, registration, and program communications. • Add vision and creativity to programs. • Provide leadership to team. • Collaborate with, guide and mentor Event Managers. • Lead internal and external team meetings/calls. • Provide direction and input to future event contracting. • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to grow current business • Accountable for weekly submission of time tracking being cognizant of utilization and client billable parameters • Proactively escalate potential client or project issues to management and account team for timely resolution • Demonstrated proficiency in ownership of process management to include project details, timeline, budget, pro-forma, and financial processes and procedures that are to be followed on a per project basis • Management of supplier partners and internal support areas to ensure quality and timely delivery • Demonstrated proficiency in financial accountability for assigned projects including adherence to standard or client deposit terms, terms, and conditions of client contract, billing turnover requirements and cash management guidelines. • Maintain established profitability guidelines and make recommendations for adjustments when warranted by specific internal cost drivers. • Provide project feedback to all stakeholders through summary and distribution of project debrief notes for inclusion in account review • Contribute to overall client satisfaction on a project by project basis • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience; travel/tourism emphasis preferred
- 6+ years of Meeting/Event Management experience
- Proven experience working with executive-level clients, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and strong stakeholder management skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Exceptional ability with Project Management skills & Financial Aptitude
- Ability to manage several tasks at a time.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work independently as well as part of a team. Demonstrate professionalism.
- Travel, as needed, on client presentations and/or planning meetings.
- Specific experience in the following meeting types desired: meetings, product launches, client incentives, tradeshows, and conferences

Hotel Maintenance Technician - Eastern Region The Hotel Maintenance Technician is a skilled craftsman that is responsible for maintaining the furniture, fixtures, and facility for interior hotel spaces onboard American Cruise Lines’ ships. The Technician works closely with the Fleet Hotel Maintenance Manager & Hotel Operations Managers to keep the ships in good condition in accordance with the company’s standards and guest expectations. During the operating season, the Technician will travel to the ships to evaluate, inspect and repair any hotel spaces that require attention. The Technician is required to hang wallpaper, install carpet, install tile, repair/install wood trim and moldings, and other general carpentry tasks. During the off cruising season, the Technician will complete maintenance and repair projects to prepare the ships to return to service in good working order. This position is part of the Hotel Operations Team and reports to the Hotel Operations Manager and in coordination with the Fleet Hotel Maintenance Manager.
